If I was a cynical person, I'd suggest there's no way they'd put the faves in the first elimination.

Harry scraped through and keeps her pin. Maybe saved because of the potential she has on the show.

She’s also a much better cook. Chris was the weakest

I didn't see the final elimination but I'm very surprised to see that Harry wasn't sent home. She has more potential yes but hers was clearly the worst based on the comments. Chris would have been fine if he used fresh oil

Meh in a 50/50 decision send the cook with the most poor dishes home.

They didn't exactly sing the praises of Chris's stirfry, calling it bland, IIRC, so it was a pretty lousy dish overall. The guy who cooked the tart was lucky too. They should do a series that has only contestants from previous seasons who went out in the first week. But Chris will get a chance to get back in at some point.

I don't mind it even though I hated the sight Poh returning back in season 1. Seems like almost always the winner is the contestant most recently eliminated

Yes but often the average one will scrape through

Remember back when the team would nominate who would be up for elimination and most times it was fairly obvious

That guy from the NT is pretty hopeless, but Max deciding to change the whole dish at the end was stupid. The purple team was overall clueless. I feel they over-edited Minoli's 'I don' know what the hero is' to draw it out. All she had to do was look ahead and see the chillis to figure it out. The fact they did that says to me it was not a very good night. The last couple of eps have been pretty average.

Watching Julie so far it's easy to see how she won back in 2009.
