I don't see the appeal of this format. Most of the average fans shunted off before any of the more established cooks.
I'd rather they all be n00bs tbh.
Plus the presence of the 'favourites' detracts from the personalities of the new ones shining through, as they don't get enough screen time.

Prefer this actually. Less fillers. There’s only 12 of the fans which is good as only 5-6 are really any good. Plus we get to see Billie, Sarah, etc.

The experience of the Faves really showed through tonight.
How those guys cooked those ribs was ridiculous. They won't last much longer if they keep producing crap food like that.
That chicken dish in the fine dining challenge looked so good. I want some.

I do think John was one of the weakest cooks out of the Favs so it was apt for him to go tonight. Julie came close though, she needs to lift if she wants to stay in the competition.

Maybe just can’t see her rustic home style lasting long. Cooking in general has moved on. It’s why the recent contestants from the favourites are the ones I expect to do the best.

The family flashbacks are where I fast forward. There’s a reason I can’t watch MC live- tape it watch it around 8:30 can just watch the cooking rather than the sooking and or flashbacks

I don't think there are any good pastry chefs in the faves. John was the only one they had, and he's gone. There are some good all-rounders in the faves, though. I think they should put Julie on desserts in the next service challenge.
