I loved the challenge tonight.
Finally we had a challenge that was befitting the final week, a true challenge that really tests the contestants.

However, i was again disappointed by the predictability of the voting.

I guess it was lineball between Justine and Poh but it didn't seem an outrageous decision to me and I hate Poh as much as anybody.

First class episode tonight befitting the final week.

Going on the challenge tomorrow it looks like a Poh v Chris final and I have no complaints about that. They are and were the two most talented cooks/chefs in the competition.

Very un Poh like to stuff up a dessert, especially the presentation - her cake looked god awful.

I guess it is too late in the comp to make them do something like cook a piece of friggan meat, she'd stuff it up.

I figure because she's actually met him and there is bound to be more to someone than what editors splice into a TV show. And perhaps a bird who is strangely bald looking has low standards

Same here I hate Poh & like Justine but sadly it was the right decision,although as the judges said it was close. Disappointing that the two cutest girls get knocked out in consecutive nights

Final two will be Chris & Poh and hopefully Chris will be the winner.

It was strange. Both Justine & Julia had really thick bases, but Julia had all the bells & whistles. Pohs cake looked like a complete disaster - and considering she had the recipe beforehand & took in stacks of notes i would have expected her to get it right. I guess Pohs tested the best out of the bottom 3 ..

Matt Moran didn't waste any time getting over to Justines house after the show either the sly fox.

Chris is so much better in the kitchen than Lucas it is not funny, in fact Chris has been the standout cook all season.

Fancy letting your personal negative emotions towards an individual cloud your logic so blatantly... any wonder there are no female judges .

Still cannot believe Julie is still around, but on last night's dish it was unfortunately justified. She seems able to follow a recipe, but when it comes to creating her own professional level dishes she has absolutely no real idea.

Looks like she melts down again tomorrow night, and potentially will serve up her third inedible dish in four nights... which in the final week of Masterchef is simply unacceptable.

Good work by Matt Moran last night, he obviously knew there would be stiff competition to recruit Justine, so snagging her into his kitchen was a coup. This is a great opportunity for Justine as she will be fast tracked by Matt, although I think she'll leave within a couple of years to undertake more specific French cuisine training.

FWIW most of the ladies I work with think Chris is great, but what do they know eh?

I think they liked Justine more - Gary & Matt were tearing up big time last night.

I really like Julie but it's mindblowing that she's made the final three, and as good as Poh has been since returning, no one has been able to get anywhere near Chris from the start.
