Masters of the Non-Prefered?

It is strange that as the game has evolved into what we watch today, where space is a premium and a high kicking efficiency is imperative to the chance at success, more young players have not decided to make this a particular skill. There are so many times when Gaff is limited in what he can do because to kick it, he has to swing out to the left. It is arguably one of the most underrated skills in the modern game.

Shuey was excellent again at the weekend. Good thread idea. Should consider adapting it to be on the main board, although like most other threads there, it'll probably turn into a s**t fight between Port/Adelaide, North/Bulldogs, StKilda/Freo, and Geelong/Hawthorn fans.
I really am surprised it's not a more common skill. I remember back in high school the footy players were always practising on their non-preferred. Perhaps some players simply can't pick it up? Honestly though it really is one of the single most important skills a player can have. If you can kick nearly as well on your left as your right you basically always have twice as much time and space as a player who can't.
