Abbot dropped
An absolute sitter at first slip by Liam Scott off David Grant
Abbott also edged one between Carey and first slip, waist height to Carey, horrible miss, just stood there and watched it go by him. That was off Grant too.

Abbot dropped
An absolute sitter at first slip by Liam Scott off David Grant
The Hunt lbw looked like it was going down leg
Happened in the one day game last week too, do they not have access to the 3rd umpire?Jesus it will be interesting to see if there's any fall out from that. Carey given run out with the umpire in a perfect position. Looked like he was in on the replay. The standard of Shield umpiring is woeful.
Better declaration than the WA game. Gives NSW hope to actually chase the runs and more than enough time to take 10 wickets. Looks to be a bit in this wicket for the bowlers.Declared
72 overs left, 294 runs ahead
Is this how you imagined? If it was anyone other than South Australia you'd say they are a big chance to beat NSW with 3/4 of the incumbent Australian attack
Edit: Will be exciting to see how they stuff it up
Will probably lose this, but glad we went for an aggressive declaration. Could have played for a draw and just kept batting this morning, but that doesn’t help us at all. Abbott and Henriques have skied a couple of balls that have just dropped short of fielders, but now look like guiding NSW home.
Yep, maybe could have batted to lunch and given them 300ish in 50 overs, but then NSW probably bat for a draw. It was worth the gamble to try get our first win, just hasn’t paid off today. Has been a fairly disappointing pitch from AO, generally there’s been more in it for bowlers than this match which has been dominated by bat.20 overs, 88 runs, plenty of wickets in hand. This one's over.

They declared early to make a game of it, just like NSW declaring behind yesterday. This game was a draw otherwise and a game that goes to the final 2 overs is not losing easily. Have you even watched the match?Only the redbacks could make 500 and still lose easily
