Game Day Match day: Ivan McAlpine / George Bennett memorial match Dogs v Hawks 7:00pm

[footscray1973]

Ivan was a decorated Bulldog who became a Hawk, while George was a consistent Hawk who elevated his career at Footscray, then ended his career back at Glenferrie.
They played against each other for both teams, but having both swapped clubs to start the 1934 season, never played together at club level, but I believe played in state teams together.

I'm at the match and I'm here to say that the AFL Record has really deteriorated. They used to be tailored to each match, but now it just has a small bit of content for every match of the round. And the lineups for the match are instead the current squad. Another thing ruined by Hutchy!

Although I'm amazed it's still $5. Perhaps I shouldn't really complain...

When Chicago eats healthy we tend to win. My analysis is that Sushi is more healthy than not. In summary, we win and Schache kicks more than one goal.

How did you extrapolate the Schache goal kicking from the sushi order?

I know we would never do it because he's too important for our forward line but the guy is such a competitive beast I reckon he would break a lot of records. He wouldn't even try to tap the ball, he'd just grab it and start smashing through campaigners.
