JDG in for Hayes. Hayes looked like started to believe a bit at the end, but you're backing Jordy in to give us more if he's ready.

Sidebottom in for Allan.

Leave Moore out for another week... and a big watch this space: Will they shift back to Bruz for the captaincy with a big speech on the line?

Apparently JDG might not play next week given that he’s had multiple concussions.

If swadling has a good performance, get Ed Allan the hell out of this side.

Only bring in sidebottom because this could/should be his last anzac day match .

After that, have to prioritize someone like swadling over giving game time to sidebottom, as harsh as that sounds.

Going to be a tough one.
The only one who can comfortably come out is Allan.
As much as I love Hayes I think Sidebottom is a must for what is likely his last Anzac day match.
Out Allan, Hayes, Membrey
In Sidebottom, JDG, West

In West Swadling Jiath Degoey Harrison Saxena Smit
Out McReery Membrey Elliot (rest) Howe (rest) Pendles (rest) Crisp (rest) Cameron (rest)
Given its Essendon before a tough block of games id be looking to manage a few older blokes and ensure they are fresh for rest 8-10 which will determine if we are going to challenge.

I will not drop Hayes, he should be in to add some goal sneak sense to the forward line. I'd drop Schultz.

Surely you’re having a laugh.

Next week is one of the only times, except for Gather Round, where Essendon aren’t pushovers.

Spot on.

Out: Hayes
In: Sidebottom

Out: Allan
In: De Goey

I think McRae will go with a conservative option and Allan seems to be the player that is in and out of the side filling in gaps when another mid is out. Hayes is still 12 months from being physically ready to play in the seniors. Had some good passages in the second half though which was promising.

Membrey sucks, Allan sucks, Lipinski sucks but admittedly did some good things late

In: People who havent sucked yet
Lipinski has been awful this year but last night he was one of the best players on the ground , 27 touches 1 goal and actually put his body on the line a few times , gotta give credit when it's due

It was the ideal Lipinski game. Good territory gain and ball use (mostly), involved in scores, and took some hits.
