Now that they are getting rid of the site announcement board I have to do my announcements on here. My match report for the Hawthorn Vs Collingwood is now done so please go to the following link to view it.

Please give me some feedback as to what you think on my forum. Thankyou

Impressive site, Rob.

But you really should proof-read your stuff before you put it up. On the one hand, you said it was a shocking game with lots of errors on both sides ... and yet you also said that it was a "terrific match".

So what did you really think?

Was "terrific" a mis-print?
Did you perhaps mean "terrible"?

I thought the game wasn't too bad, although there were certainly plenty of mistakes. I tended to notice Collingwood's mistakes more ... surprise, surprise.

Hawk fans seem to be making a lot of the fact that many of their stars were down on form, but a few of our top-liners were down too. Anthony Rocca was a waste of space. Tarrant did very little. Buckley looked injured in my opinion and his kicking was bloody atrocious.

Maybe you hit the nail on the head when you described it as a "typical" round one match. I think there's a lot of improvement left in both sides. And in a way I'm pleased that Collingwood hasn't got off to a flyer like we did last year. Perhaps this year our season might extend beyond April!!!

Sorry Alf, but if your picking on Hawkfan5 for typo's then yours should be pointed out too.

A.Rocca and top liner, in the same paragraph??? How did that one get past the proof readers?

Great site Rob,
Alf
watching on the t.v it seemed surprising that Buckley spent as much time as a permanent forward so you could be right about the injury.
agree with you votes as well.
