Yep, the Hawks were good and applied amazing pressure which we withstood and outlasted. It's incredible that the Hawks have beaten Geelong and Brisbane, lost to Melb by only 10 points and take us all the way on our home ground, but can't beat a bottom 4 team.
You just have to win and keep winning to win a flag: and this team has to win under all circumstances and that was a massive test. Was important for that to happen

Generally when they don't put ice on a hammy it's a serious injury. His reaction would confirm that as well.
He had the ice strapped around it while on the bench. I think you’ll find he did his ten minutes with ice. Then they take off and apply again for fifteen mins etc.

If it was grade 1 off the bone he would have been on crutches after the game.
Emotionally he has been so invested in the purple, he worked hard to become a top 10 player in the team this year and it probably all flashed before his eyes.

Acres emotions would have been because he has worked so hard to get to the position he is in, there is always uncertainty in footy and it hits you all at once when you go down like that.
JL hopes it wasn't a serious one so fingers crossed for him, JL also took some pressure off him saying he will be rewarded, I liked that, reminded me of the Ross story from Kepler, Kepler did his ACL but Ross told him on the bench that it's all good you'll be back next year, guaranteeing him a contract and taking all the pressure off.

Thought it was great that we didn’t get everything our way but we found a way to win. Good learnings to take out.
Happy with Fyfe’s return. Think we’re going to be bonafide premiership fancy if we can get the Brodie-Fyfe balance right without either dropping output.

I've been saying for a while that Mundy would be the perfect sub. Use the sub spot to try and manage his ToG.
I wish they would just change back the sub rule to a proper sub that can be tactically put in and have teams take control of how they manage it.
He dominates in the bye round. That would be impressive.
But generally your on crutches if it's really bad
I'm thinking as you get older it'd be harder to get going if thrown into a game.
