How can Giggs be caretaker manager at a club he doesn't work for?

Just about a must win for us to keep in touch with the top. An unbeaten record is great but we need to start winning games. (An opinion officially endorsed by go you pups ;))

Is Sissoko getting done for his elbow?
Let's hope so. Then Pochettino won't be tempted to pick him despite him offering almost nothing.

Arter has apparently said that Sissoko apologised after the game and said it was an accident which he has accepted as the truth. To be fair, I actually thought it looked like an accident as well. Does there need to be intent to be retrospectively banned?

If they do ban Sissoko hopefully it's before the league cup. That'll count as one of the three and we can cover him for the next two league games. Play him for 90 in the CL in that period to get some actual match fitness rather than 15 minute cameo runs wedged between starts

Is Sissoko getting done for his elbow?
Honestly it depends on how honest the ref is.
The fact he gave Arter and Sissoko a lecture afterwards hints at it being seen (backed up by footage of him looking in that direction at the time). However, if he puts in his report that he saw it but then didn't issue a card of any sort, well, he'll be refereeing in the Championship this weekend.
So may say he didn't see it.

Not fussed tbh, it deserves a ban.
