I dont know about that. Markovic wasnt ever really bad in his first season. He was pretty good in patches, wasnt played as much as we wanted him to actually. Then he is inexplicably loaned out by Rodgers which was super annoying. He has gone pretty well in Turkey too.
I look forward to his return next season, get him working under Klopp.

Flamini was damn lucky to stay on. Could easily have been red, was fortunate that he did at least make contact with the ball.

Yeah he was a 20 year old kid in his first season in the Premier League, he was going to have moments where he sucked but he also played quite well in patches. He was doing well enough that Liverpool fans often wanted him to come on or start games. Whereas I feel Man United fans dont want Depay to start games.
He was mismanaged by Rodgers though, I dont think Rodgers liked him much, hence sending him out on loan, a committee buy I believe. Im looking forward to getting him back.

Most united fans wanted him to start at derby and be in rotation to give martial a rest.
