EPL Matchday 25

How much is Sanchez earning a week?

  • He plays for the love of the game.

  • 300k.

  • 500k.

  • 700k and a purple monkey dishwasher.

  • None of your business. That is private info between Man United, Sanchez and Jack Watts.

*League Cup and FA Cup games between Matchday 24 and 25*

First up we have Swansea who had a big win over Liverpool and they play Arsenal who destroyed Palace in the fist 20mins. Can Arsenal get back into the top 4 race? A Swansea win could get them out of the relegation zone.

West Ham drew 1-1 with Bournemouth with Chicharito getting on the scoresheet, Palace would want to bounce back from their drubbing against Arsenal.

Huddersfield fell to Stoke 2-0 and they welcome Liverpool who managed to somehow beat 1st placed City then lose to last placed Swansea. Only Liverpool huh?

Chelsea got out of their form slump by belting Brighton 4-0 with Hazard getting a brace, They should easily account for Bournemouth here.

Everton drew with West Brom and there will be changes in midfield after James McCarthy suffered a horrific leg injury. Leicester are in some terrific form beating Watford and claiming 7th spot. Thus being the best of the rest. Can they make Europa?

Both Newcastle and Burnley lost to the Manc clubs last week and Newcastle especially will be looking to push away from the relegation zone.

Soton find themselves in their worst position in some time, in 18th spot. But they did manage to grab a point against Spurs and would love to leapfrog Brighton and go to a possible 12th spot.

Man City are cruising with a 12 point gap at the top and should dispatch of West Brom.

Stoke looked finished under Hughes but have found new life with a win against Hudderfield, Watford have sacked Marco Silva so it could be another vital 3 points for Stoke here.

Match of the round is Spurs vs Man United. Man United looking to lock in a top 4 spot and Spurs trying to get into the 4. It is an absolute must not lose game for Spurs otherwise it would put a massive dent in their top 4 hopes.

My Picks:
Swansea vs Arsenal 0-3
West Ham vs Palace 1-1
Huddersfield vs Liverpool 1-2
Chelsea vs Bournemouth 1-0
Everton vs Leicester 1-2
Newcastle vs Burnley 0-1
Soton vs Brighton 1-0
Man City vs West Brom 4-1
Stoke vs Watford 1-0
Spurs vs Man United 1-1

Time to make 7th place ours.

Sorry Everton, nothing personal, but I think this relegation fight needs to be taken up to 11... plus 1... contenders, as we need to secure 7th!

Let's see Big Sam, and Shakey, and Unsworth, and... Sammy Lee, all sweat it out with our sweaty football! We're not going to make this an easy one at Goodison!

Toby could be back so that’s a plus.
Hopefully keep Kane, Vertonghen, Dele and co well away from the Newport County rugby field and give them an extended break. It's a big game this one for our top 4 prospects.

Agreed. A couple of them on the bench though just in case.

Bloody hell Levy. Just give the man £150k p/w already and be done with it.

Poch needs to get him back in the starting line-up asap. Not convinced he will considering how long it is taking Wanyama to get his starting position back

Is there a chance of Toby leaving?
There’s a chance of anything happening. Think he’s more likely to leave than most on our books. I actually think they will all be there next season, but more likely to leave after a season at the new stadium

We are absolutely gash against top 6 friend

Even when you lot were average you'd have the wood on us
Our record at home though against the Top 6 is actually pretty good. Across the last 3 years i think the only top 6 team we've lost to at home was Chelsea this season. Also beaten United both of the last two seasons at home.
