Agree to disagree. The official in charge deemed it not to be a penalty so you can shout injustice until the cows come home, it doesn't make you right.
"It doesn't make you right"

What because an official has never been wrong o_O

I am.

It just takes away some of my enthusiasm for your success when there's been so many calls in your favour that are debatable at best and downright plain wrong at worst.

Out of interest how many penalties have you conceded this season?
Why? In the last 12 months we've got 91 points, 18 better than any other club. You don't think we deserve it?

I don't know, have you tried looking it up?

We get a lot of penalties because we're often first to the ball. For all the complaining, I'm yet to hear of which penalties of ours shouldn't have been given.

Course they have. But SM has seen it one way, plenty of others have seen it the other. Somehow, he's right and everyone else that disagrees is wrong.

:drunk:

Ref gets call wrong, team benefits. Accept it and move on. Just because the ref made a certain call also doesn't make them right! About five minutes ago you said with your tongue in cheek I presume that we're lucky any PL ref gets calls right! Seems to indicate your level of confidence in them. Oliver is certainly one of the better ones but in this case I think it's more on the AR to let him know the handball has occurred.

I've gone through the letter of the law why it's the wrong call, so I'm pretty happy sitting here saying I'm right. You can shout that I'm wrong all you want but it just underlines to me the utter bias and lack of objectiveness you're starting to display as it gets closer to the end of the season. Reign it in a little mate, don't go full Liverpool on us.

Maybe drop this snotty pretentious attitude you're developing mate, you were pretty out of line with your pot shots at Kizza last night as well and you're carrying on with it this morning despite having sobered up.

I can look it up, you've conceded 2. I was just asking because I was curious how many times the refs have actually had the balls to call big decisions against you. A massive 2 times.

Well the one against Arsenal was pretty contentious although at the time I believed it was correct personally. I can't recall all your penalties off the top of my head but if you want to go through the 10 you've received I'd be happy to offer my opinion on them since you seem keen to hear thoughts on them.

Ahhh yes, I forgot you're an official...

Whatever mate, it wasn't called a penalty, plenty of people agree it wasn't, others agree it was. Lack of objectiveness might be true if others from different clubs didn't agree with me.

It means **** all now anyway, all that matters is we're now 7 points clear with 6 games to go.

"Plenty of others" mate the only ones in here saying it wasn't a pen are people with a vested interest in you getting the result. Even Windyhill who is the main one I've seen telling me to move on agreed it was a pen but was glad it wasn't given.

You got the rub of the green. Again. Be happy with it. It's ok to admit you got very lucky with the call.

Thanks but pass.

And? Again, apart from last night, where else do you think we should have conceded penalties?

So you want to call out the fact we've got a lot of penalties for what purpose?

I am actually.

People from the other clubs that have a vested interest in you winning, you mean? Notice anyone who has reffed at any point are all saying it was a clear pen?

Le Tissier is a Southampton legend. But I guess he's got a vested interest in Leicester winning instead...

At least you're man enough to admit that you're being a total dick on here and don't care about it. Ballsy.

I'm sorry that I don't have your other 31 games on instant recall, I just found the stat quite interesting.

For the purpose that as pointed out in another thread, the swing of incorrect decisions going in Leicester's favour have swung wildly since last season. It sours my support for Leicester's push for the title when it's on the back of so many incorrect decisions.

You keep harping on about him, care to quote what he said and why he thought it wasn't a pen?

Other BBC, Fox Sports, and other pundits have all said it was a clear pen, but of course their opinions don't matter?

Shock horror he got it wrong, and those of us with the benefit of replays have been able to give a more accurate decision. We're not saying he was bent, that would be a ridiculous accusation so not really sure your point.

Why would I care what you think about my posting? It's an internet forum.

So many incorrect decisions. You keep spouting that but have only got last night's incident as an incorrect decision.

Maybe because you're a mod and should show some modicum of self-restraint when it comes to taking pot shots at other users? And because you're starting to lose the support of some neutrals because of your dickish attitude lately.

And of course the table that was posted on here recently about the incorrect differential in Leicester's favour. But just ignore that if it suits your case.

It's a shame that this great fairytale is becoming somewhat tainted. If Leicester are to win it, Let's hope there are no more dodgy decisions from now until the end of the season

Pot shots? Bit precious mate. I was tongue in cheek with Kizza last night. Where have I made a pot shot today? Again, why would I care about what 'neutrals' think?

Show me the table? The table provided the number of calls didn't it? Not incorrect calls?

Not caring what neutrals think.. ok bud, carry on as you were. :thumbsu:

DBAH0 do you still have that table handy?

This thread's going round in circles. We've all seen more blatant and deliberate handballs also not given as pens, but we've also seen less clear and obvious ones given.

This one could easily have been a pen but I (and others) can see how it wasn't. I think there's enough to suggest it's not as stonewall as a lot of other cases we've seen. Leicester are fortunate they had a ref who deemed it hand to ball, which I think it was (though can appreciate the counter-argument) and we should all move on from it now.

Living in the past? Stop me if you've heard this one before - at least these other clubs you're criticizing for doing the same thing actually have something worth celebrating!
Woah aren't we under your skin this season....

Enjoy your last two European games for at least a year....
