This thread's going round in circles. We've all seen more blatant and deliberate handballs also not given as pens, but we've also seen less clear and obvious ones given.

This one could easily have been a pen but I (and others) can see how it wasn't. I think there's enough to suggest it's not as stonewall as a lot of other cases we've seen. Leicester are fortunate they had a ref who deemed it hand to ball, which I think it was (though can appreciate the counter-argument) and we should all move on from it now.
Rational and undeniable. Not sure when I blinked and missed Jatz losing this trait.

vested interest in you getting the result.
Not all with vested interests. Some goons who'd now love Leicester to win the league admitted it was an incorrect call.

Yep. Oh well, guess this is what we put up with for the rest of the season. FT seems to be keeping his head on at least.

Had to me the most ludicrous set of postings I've ever seen on here.

Would be funny if they hadn't been so utterly pathetic. It's what we have come to expect from Wendy though sadly

Well at least Windy isn't a Dipper. Once you go Scouser you're a lost soul.

Some in here jealous of Leicester's success it seems.

Penalty call could have gone either way. Not the worst decision in the world to not award the penalty. And Leicester have nothing on the referees back in the SAF days when he had the head of refereeing around for roast dinners!!

Yep, I think it's a pen but even if he doesn't hit him it's probably hitting his body so the outcome's similar, can understand why the ref doesn't give it. Loads of handball calls are like that, so we can move on before spurs fans derail another thread

Of course I wish it was Hull in their place, who in their right mind isn't jealous? That doesn't mean I begrudge them their success, and up until this week I'm fairly sure I've been one of the most vocal supporters of their run to the title - see pretty much any week on the podcast or a fair few of the match day threads. It's just Jatz's attitude this week that is rankling me.

I actually don't get the Spurs hate. If we choke, I hope they win it. That side is great for the domestic game. The development of young English players has been superb :thumbsu:

Who from Spurs has expressed hate for Leicester?

Everything I've seen has been the shit fight between Liverpool and Spurs we've come to expect.

I was referring to the Liverpool Spurs hate. I don't really get it.

Bless you.

There is no animosity on my behalf if you win it either. I'm sure you can sense it's the Liverpool and Arsenal fans trying to stir things up on here.

I genuinely mean it when I say I won't be at all bitter if Leicester win - even if it ends up as only a point or two over us. Ok if you won a last minute dodgy penalty in the final game to achieve that outcome then perhaps I would be a little narked!

Finishing second to an Arsenal (no English talent, horrid manager etc) or to a Man City (more money than sense / foreign mercenaries) would hurt and make me bitter (especially if it involved Deli Alli slipping over in the penultimate match). But losing to a Leicester team that has gone through perhaps the biggest miracle seen in English football - you just have to sit back and admire that

Oh right.

Because Liverpool see themselves as a bigger club and are bitter that Spurs may win the title before they do.

Inb4 football existed before PL.
