I find it hard to believe that Neitz will play this weekend. I think that they’re trying to make out that he might play to get Geelong to prepare for Scarlett v Neitz and Harley v Robertson. If Neitz did end up playing it would only be to serve as a decoy and to keep Scarlett away from Robertson. He's not fully fit and couldn't be fully effective. Melbourne know that Robertson must kick a bag if they are to win. I say, put Scarlett on Robertson and Harley or Egan on Neitz (if he plays) or Holland.
Travis Johnstone is another worry. He seems to be one that slips under the radar and I would think deserves a tag. Rooke may be the man for him after his job on Judd a couple of weeks back. I get the feeling Rooke’s physicality might upset Johnstone. Another potential job for Rooke would be Moloney (who is also under a cloud).
Aaron Davey hurt us in the Round 20 game so would be another we need to pay attention to, especially when he moves into the midfield. Hun will probably take him when forward, but probably needs to rotate with someone like Kelly or David Johnson (if he is selected) when he pushes through the midfield.
From our side of things, I’d like to see Nathan back in the goalsquare where he has been the most dangerous. Kent should be alongside him so we have two strong leading options out of the square. Despite the rantings of some on this board, I’d have Playfair at CHF at least for the first half, with Milburn an option if things aren’t going well in the second.
