Has anyone noticed Egan plays rather unauthordoxed. He is often well infront of his man moving back with the flight of the ball into his opponent. He is particularly good at this and often takes marks from places I would consider myself out of position. Probably a player like Russell Robinson or Fevola could exploit this because they have great leaps and are very strong overhead in a pack situation but I don't think many others could.
It takes a lot of guts to play like this and confidence IMO. He gets crunched fairly regularly and I personally hate having my man so far behind that I can't see or feel where he is.
He has been very good this year and last. Paticularly given where he was taken in the draft. Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this and knows why he does it. (make up for lack of speed?).
I would bet just about anything that in tennis he has a dynamite smash when people pop lobs up to him.
