I used to hate maths doing heaps and heaps of it at uni because of my engineering degree.
But now maths fascinates me... it's an amazingly deep and complex subject and crazily, all the stuff I did at uni only just scratches the surface. I'm in awe at the people who have the brainpower to grasp such complex ideas. Same with cutting edge physics.
Obviously you use maybe 0.01% of the maths you learn in daily life, but be thankful there are brainiacs working hard and pushing the boundaries of mathematics because otherwise we wouldn't have half the new technology/scientific discoveries that we take for granted nowdays.
Maths rocks.
