Grats to midget thor as this is the chance for him to clearly know if he can cut it in the AFL but I have to speak for the majority here. How thomas was ignored with his elite skin folds has me stumped! Next Hardwick will fail again and not sign Newman to a 3 year extension #sackhardwick

I was just talking to The Trombone about this bloke. I would apply the John Newcombe philosophy v John McEnroe on Vince.
Newcombe said if he had of played Mac, when Mac would hold a game up and call for an official to complain, he would let it ride out, then when everyone was seated and ready to play, Newc would of held the game up and call an official out. Just to get in Macs head.
So, to apply the same logic, we should use Arnott to sacrifice his game and Bernie Vince Vince. And i'm not talking bumps or blocks, i'm talking MCCaffer type tactics. Not looking at the ball, bear hugs, all that negative shit. It's a no brainer. Because if they call Arnott on it, they have to call Vince on it.
I would also start Cotchin at FF tonight just to throw a cat among the shemons.

All good in theory CB17,BUT i expect every player in the team to back up each other when the moment arises.
Also i don't think all the responsibility should be left to a kid as we should expect more senior players leading from the front at this stage of our rebuild.
Also Arnot has just got back onto the list which to me means his career was at the crossroads.So i would prefer to see the kids talent ATM and ADOPT
these tactics more frequently when he is more established in the team.
He goes hard and tackles anyway,but i would hate to see him turn into an opposition despised football bum at this stage of his career.

Great stuff, deserves his chance after some solid pre season form. Really hope he can make an impact and show he deserves to be on the list beyond 2015.

Interested to see where he plays - hopefully won't be starting as the sub too often and given a decent chance to make a go of it. Maybe he can be the solution to our defensive small forward dilemma. Just tell him to tackle, smash, chase and throw his weight around.
