For those that don't know, Matt Firman is on Geelong's VFL list this season..

Anyway, there's a story on the GFC site about him and his desires to return to an AFL list.

Talks about that infamous hamstring injury on the eve of his debut in round 22 last season..

The dream lives on

He was only there for one year and it is a good article.

I was a bit disappointed we got rid of him at the time, but given the other players we picked up, I think we made the right decision.

Yeah, looks like a little error, but nonetheless, it was a pretty cruel way to finish an AFL career. That's just how AFL goes i suppose, unfortunately.

He did prtetty well in the VFL for us considering he was a bit of a left field decision.
