Maguire is just what we DON'T need - another injury prone defender. We already have Rivers, we don't need another one.

A 23 yr old CHB, he broke his leg FFs you cant call that injury prone! sure he had hip-flexor troubles for the 2nd half of 04, but that is it. 1 hipflexor and a broken leg (cant be helped) surely that ain't injury prone!

BTW i think TJ + 2nd pick for goose would be adequate compensation if he wanted to go. No way would i want to trade him if he was happy to stay.

what? an 27 yr old midfeilder that isn't even in your top 3 (Bruce, Jones, McDonald for a start) for a 23yr old that has CHB cemented in almost any team.

IMO if either of the teams are losing out of that trade, it is us. We lose a KP player for an outside running midfeilder (which we already have a ton of)

And that broken leg hampered him all year.. kept him to 10 games for the season. He has had numerous operations on the leg since it broke too. Can't be a good thing.

Keep him anyway, we don't want him.

Considering he broke the leg half way through 06 and got back half way through 07, id say that was a fair recovery time. But thats just my take on it.

If Sydney are looking at Miller, hopefully the rumours are true about Jolly wanting to come back to Victoria as would welcome him back with open arms. Would take the number 1 ruck spot, Goose is going to be a tricky one to secure as i think alot of teams will be targeting him.

Nah i wouldnt want Jolly, the more agile, better running type ruckmen like Cox is were the game is headed. I've never seen jolly run with the ball and i reckon the game will pass him by. I would be much more intrested in a Meeson or even a giant like street who fits in the shit centre circle perfectly.
