Yes he did. I can remember Barlow even talking about his first full game in a press conference after the match saying "I was tonguing it a bit there at the end". I'm almost willing to bet my first born that Ross was sitting right next to him.

Awww shit! I hate it when I fact check and find out I'm wrong. Lucky I said "almost".

He played round 1, 2012. Started as sub, but that was due to his recovery from broken leg more than anything. Kicked a goal almost as soon as he was subbed on, and the crowd went nuts.

Has only missed games since then due to injury.

For those who think that Taberners game was not good did anyone notice how badly Butler played when Brown went down with the knee injury .
We may have been a little disappointed with Clancee as our sub and how he had little impact on the game but Butler let Ballantyne off the leach and goals came at a rush as a result .
They put leaches on him? And the umpires didn't even notice!

I was surprised Lyon didn't throw him in the forward line half way through the game. I guess they wanted to see him tough out the whole match there.

But I felt like coaching staff may have missed an opportunity to burn WC backmen- which seems to be the leading kind of forward he is, particularly as they had Brown go down.

Possibly, knew someone would reply in that regard - I am sure there would have been a solution, in any case we won the coaches were vindicated
Yeah, from a development perspective if you're going to have a young bloke have a poor game, the best place to do it is in a close win.

maybe if either our back-line or forward-line wasn't working, the switch would be a possibility. while both weren't perfect, they were functioning well enough to keep things as they are.

mayne did pluck some saving contested marks coming out of the b50 when we were under the pump. i for one is glad that he was in the forward-line and not behind the ball at those times.
