Played junior footy against Ablett jnr and kept him goalless twice in a season.

It’s pretty much the same list as before, they are just a bit older, that’s all. I don’t think it’s mentality, they are just not as good as they were.

Like Geelong, they go missing far too often in the finals but they did win a flag just recently in one of the great grand finals of recent times. West Coast are a model of consistency. Ever since they came into the league, they have been one of the most competitive and successful clubs. I have no doubt their turnaround will be quicker than ours.
It helps being a two club state and having access to the cream of the crop.

We missed our best player- MVP Stewart, our best run-with player- MOC, our best 2 way defensive mid- Parfitt, and during the season, Danger for 2-3 months, Duncan for 2-3 months, Guthrie for a month, and Cameron for 2 months.
We have done really well to finish in 4th spot.

All signs in recent years appear to suggest this is not a quality we're looking for in our coaching staff, though. So sadly we'll probably have to end up looking elsewhere.

I know this is a Knights related thread and that I'm barging on through but Corey Enright's landed at St Kilda.

Stewart missed the final month of the year when we had already secured a finals spot.
Dangerfield played 16 games and Cameron 15 games.

Shuey played 7, Yeo 12, Ryan 12. They had a far more extensive injury list than we had to endure.

Sad to see Boris go but for his future as a coach he needed to try a new system and club to get well rounded.
