He got no bites because Collingwood medicos said he isnt fit to play and SOS signed him for 1 + 2 contract. Year one was $350k.

Stop talking s**t.
Im quite sure Kreuzer was in AA discussions last year
Make up your mind is he broken or AA?

That’s correct. I thought initially the Pies were going to pay him around $400k - $450k, so what you’re saying would be about right.

Come on mate. If he was going to be fit for the whole season, you wouldn't be trading him. Fact.

Everyone is up for sale for the right price. Our main concern is running power and class in the middle not the ruck.

Not true.

Carlton knows Kreuzer won't be around for the next flag tilt and has ruck covered for the short term and both KPF slots filled by grade A prospects.

Kreuzer is probably the only non prospect that Carlton has with any real value and it would make sense to explore his market.

True, the Blues desperately need to get some help for Cripps but do you really want to go into the season with Phillips or Lobbe as your number one ruck?

Disagree. If he was 100% fit and could play the whole season he provides leadership and seniority for a largely young team. A winning ruck gives the midfield youth a chance to flourish. You don't trade your own champs at age 29 which is still good for a ruckman. That team needs senior onfield leaders.

Absolutely not. But depends what GWS list manager do with their ruck situation and how they rate Kreuzer. Unless SOS has a player in mind to fill the void... good rucks are hard to get its a risk but our midfield is just getting overun on the spread week in week out past three years and need to fix it. We have good kids but its a priority to get it right.

I agree with you about that but it's not true that if he was fit then he won't be traded.

Carlton are exploring his market and they are right to do so.

Make up your mind and try and stick to it

If you can comprehend sinmple English verified by a Collingwood supporter perhaps it would make it easy for you. Alas you are as dumb as bricks. Now get out of my face.

GWS would be so much better off looking for the next Martin/Nank/Jacobs

Get a good 2nd fiddle ruck who is behind a #1 ruck cheap for a late pick, rather than sacrifising huge trade value for an injur prone ruck who will be 30 next year.

Yeah I think you are used to us casting off our neafl players.

Not even close to a good deal

Pick 1 or 2 and Kreuzer is not a bad deal.

It's a good deal for both teams due to GWS' need to trim salary, get another quality veteran and get a top 2 pick next year.

So we take the risk? Cant see them accepting it in anyway.

Veterans are nice but not ones who never play due to injury. We are well versed in this.

I understand the hesitancy.

It's the kind of trade that could get done and kind of makes logistical sense at least.

Kreuzer is a genuine talent and hasn't had the career many expected but that is mostly due to injury and the form of his club than his own lack of ability.

He averages about 16 games a year over his career and if you could get 50 games out of him over the next 3 seasons then it is well worth it because it quite possibly could get you the cup.

Kreuzer can break games open in the ruck and at KPF which is exactly what you need to get over the top IMO.
