The 2010 midfield had more dimensions. Pace height and ability to out mark opponents chase harder. Simply due to D.Thomas Didak and Wellingham. That's where I disagree with you.
Adams and J. Thomas may turn out to be nice players.
Rate Adams but he did cost us a gun in Heath Shaw which is another player we can't cover immediately. We are a fair way off a flag IMO.

Josh Fraser kicked multiple goals in finals too. I don't see what you are getting at in regards to Didak anyway. Did you expect him to be able to do something similar now?

Swan spent more time out of the midfield in 2013. Which leaves us short inside the centre.

You are a joke mate Didak has never in his AFL career kicked 4 goals or more and got 30+ disposals. The most ha has got is 22 disposals and 4 goals in one game. (In fact he only had more then 30 disposals 11 times and on 8 different occasions he kicked 4 goals or more.) **** no wonder you are never happy because you don't have a clue. If Dids was getting 35 disposals and kicking 4 he would be remembered as the greatest of all time. Yeah Daisy may have had to good years but Adams will give us more this year then Daisy has since 2011. Sidebottom was there but he is a far better player now, why don't you tell me that Swan, Pendlebury and Beams were also there? We have already established that you are unreasonable hard on Ball. "Ball hasn't been that good over the last two years" well some people struggle when the have a ruptured ACL

Perfect height for a 186cm mid. Compared that height to J. Thomas S.Dwyer who Seedsfan has replacing him.

I think Lloyd is correct about his assessment but there are positives to take out of it. The graphic they used showing the respective midfields of the top teams do show that on paper we have the best midfield in the competition however in reality we are inferior due to lack of defensive efforts. Therefore if we can actually lift in this area we can become the best with our current list.

Last year we were lazy and needed cultural change. So far we are yet to see that eventuate however I don't pay too much attention to effort in practise matches. It will become clearer this Friday though. Can't wait!

2007 over time final v West Coast the night Didak came of age. Go watch that game and get back to me.

Dids chase hard **** you really don't know he would be the most outside player I have ever seen pull on the black and white.

We must have watched a different Didak.... He may have chased hard but I can't remember him laying a decent tackle when or if he ever caught them.
 
I actually rate Lloyd's opinions, he isn't afraid to make unpopular calls. At the end of the day it is just his opinion, unfair roast. Not everyone can be right all the time

Well in this case what is true is different from different point of views. As what people think to be the truth is just popular opinion. People rate players and groups of players differently and that will change what is true in their minds.

It's not easy to rebuild a quality list when you've been up so high in compromised drafts and had the father/son disappear.

Between 1997 and 2001 we were in the bottom half and again in 2004 and 2005 and got access to that high-end draft talent to complement our father/sons. Tarrant, Fraser, Didak, Thomas, Pendlebury, Reid, Cloke, Shaw. You can fluke a Swan but it doesn't happen often.

We've had to contend since 2012 with our talent ageing and having to rejuvenate while the expansion teams gobbled up all the early talent. The only way to buy back into the quality youth is to let go of something decent. Tarrant allowed us to get Reid. Thomas has allowed us to get Scharenberg.

35 disps (20 kicks 15 hballs), 8 marks and a goal in Rd 19 22-pt win over Geelong at the MCG (7 Aug 2010) sure it's not 4 goals but he did slam 41 goals in the net in 2010. ;)
