Lol Comparing Didak to Josh Thomas. Didak by a country mile and then some. Thomas may become a very good player but to compare them at the moment is laughable.

Lloyd knows his stuff and isn't scared to voice his opinion. He could be wrong but we have seen nothing this preseason to prove otherwise.

Last i heard Daicos was also a midfield gun and only went forward in the first place due to injury?

Dids was a lovely kick and also a smart player but was very physicaly allergic and also very one paced.

Great player in his own right but not in the same league as Daicos from what I have seen, read and heard.

Swans 2010 over Didaks 2010 by a far margin, Didak was a star but Swan was the best player in the competition that year, and thats the only year i could say he was the best with confidence.

Its like comparing Wingard to Boak, Wingard is very flashy and has the ability to win games off of his own boot but structurally Boak is far more important to Port in my opinion.

I'd say yay and nay here.

Wingard will be Ports best player in a year or 2 and is a much more damaging player offensively or course the argument can also be made for Boaks inside game setting up the Wingards of the AFL but Wingard isn't shy of contact himself.

Dids was a great finisher in a great team. Daics was simply a freak who had opposition defenders so "baffled" as to how to stop him that he ran rings around all of them...he was a small man's Peter Hudson so uncanny were his goal senses.

if you want to judge a guys impact on a season solely on goals kicked.. and then compare him randomly with other players who also had really good seasons...righto..go ahead.. good for you.... really not sure what your point is here?? I'm guessing you don't rate Didak or his 2010 season... again.. righto.. good one..

I actually enjoyed his 2010 season greatly. He had a few mates, lottsa guys had best ever seasons that year. Dids is a Collingwood premiership player, he's earned and been given respect.

Didak was certainly no Daicos.. and you are right.. Daicos played some really good footy in the midfield for a while before getting injured.

Please illuminate us all on what preseasons actually "prove". Fremantle hasn't won a game, does that mean they are shit?
 
Watching footy classified now. Talking about the Buddy deal. Caro says it was a ridiculous that was a massive finger to the system, tick tick agree with all that, thinking hmm Caro is actually giving a decent opinion and why. Then she says that Buddy is gonna be more front news than back, uhhh jeez not liking that insinuation which is a blight on Buddys character.

Lloyd agrees with Caro but picks her up on the front page thing as well.

Tl; dr Lloyd is great. We the same.

You are bringing all those in? Which players did you lose faith in tonight? I can only think of Clarke out and maybe WITTS but he didn't disgrace us. Maxwell wasn't great.

His disposal is shit house, champion data rates it as poor when he gets the ball he doesn't use it right. His first instinct is to take on the tackle most of the time gets caught very lucky not to have given away about 3 holding the ball free kicks last night. He finds the ball but when he gets it makes poor decisions and his skill execution is poor. He does all the flashy shit and people just focus on that.

Now that is a hard one I I was at the VFL and Dwyer, JT Fasolo were very good and Blair was alright. Witts is out for team balance not because he was that bad he went alright in the ruck but needs to fill out. Also I think a lot of guys will play in the VFL for there spots next week
 
Fyfe is a very good footballer, but i think his game against us was abit overrated, to say he stood out wouldnt give justice to about 15-20 of Freos 22, they were all very good.

Looks like he worked on it over the off-season...94% efficiency last night.

So does ringing all those changes win us games? Probably not. We need contribution from 22 players. Some players aren't ready and some just aren't up to it.

Fasolo, Dwyer and JT would have all had 2-3 quality hit outs before they go in to the senior side. They are ready and are up for it. Blair played really well last week agaisnt the Tigers and was alright today, will need to play well against Bendigo next week to get a spot in the side
