I'm sure there was another reason...
I'm sure there was another reason...
doing very nicely might I add, I reckon Port should have a look at him. (as a forward obviously)Playing for Norwood in the SANFL as a forward

Yep that other reason got him pushed out the door.
An off-field reason I assume.
Hooper, Schofield? There was a few younger guys on our list we moved on that were part of a "party culture" so to speak.
Hooper, Schofield?
I heard a few different things involving them 2 lads. Not sure whether there true or not. It's history now, however I don't think those two were involved.
Schofield quit because he didn't have it in him to deal with the rigors of AFL football. Sadly I think Hoops just wasn't good enough.
Anyway lets not delve too far into speculation.
Panos is not longer with us. We move on.
Anyone know where Hooper is playing now and how he's going? Last I seen off here was he was devastated to be de-listed, may be enough to get to the next level if he wanted to make it badly enough
Panos was too slow and very one dimensional. Gun state league forward, just gets found out at AFL level. There's heaps of them going around at the moment. See Darren Ewing for NT Thunder, probably the smartest forward I've ever seen. Just too slow and undersized to play key posts at AFL level. 20 years ago they'd be AFL players. Game is too evolved for these types now.
Fair pointHow the hell would anyone know that. He never got a chance at AFL level to prove anyone wrong.
Him not playing at AFL level proves my point entirely. How the hell would anyone know that. He never got a chance at AFL level to prove anyone wrong.
