This weeks game against St Kilda will be Marty Mattners 200th game. He's been a polarazing figure on this board for one reason or another but one thing that cannot be denied since he arrived at Sydney is he's given it everything he has.
He's been an old school half back flanker who has been aggressive in his play, an awesome tackler and has loved to take the game on and at times he's been brilliant hitting targets off his left and hitting me 20 rows back with his right. in fact he did kicking drills with Alex Zanardi and Zanardi had the better right foot.....
However I've loved his passion, aggression work rate and competitiveness. and none of us will forget the awesome run a couple of years ago when Richmond made a massive come back at the SCG he made to pull their shot on goal to put them in front into a non score.
Will post a few Mattner memories during the week so people feel free to do so.
That goes for Crows supporters where he played 90 odd of these games of course, feel free to post some memories of his early years too.
