Mojo is one of the few people on here who dosn't need someone to back him up... but for all those critics, got the word he has signed aswell - should be announced in the next 24 hrs - minor details to go over.

Does anyone agree they we should offload another dud and use another pick in the draft... surely a kid or someone like Bailey from Norwood would be better than a few still hanging onto out list?

cfc05: I was of the understanding that in terms of list management, it might be better to the contracts of some of our 'fringe' players run out next year, then delist them and have more picks in what is more likely to be considered a stronger draft ??

Could be wrong though

Great work mojo, good news indeed. :thumbsu:
Three big positives for the Blues lately for
change , bolstering coaching team, Daniher and Dempsey
retaining Skinny Blues and Diggers with Ants.
Things are slowly taking shape.

Good news indeed

“Having just completed a successful Foster’s International Rules Series I have witnesses first hand the excitement and brilliance of youth. We have some great young kids at our Club and are about to add more to our list in the up coming National Drat. I look forward to fast tracking their development so that the Carlton Football Club can regain the respect and power it once held in this competition.”

nice quote from Skinny too showing the leadership and maturity we need.

I'm glad. He's got a lot of character, and I like that in a profesional footballer. It's nice to know I don't have to be bitter about him anymore. But Lappin, please work harder next season.

It's bloody great. This summer won't turn out to be a shambles.
It was never gonna be a shambles. Worst case scenario: Lappin + d***head out. Murphy + Hurn in. You ripper! WooHoooo! :D

With a couple more youngsters coming into the midfiled via the draft and blokes like Walker and Carazzo playing a bigger role i think Matty will have a big year in 2006 with more of a mentoring attitude.
