Id honestly like to see you how you go at the footy one day, you come across as a total nutcase.

LOL (actually did Laugh Out Loud when I read this)

He's just a psychotic optimist, but good fun at the footy.
He does know the game rather well (at least a fair bit better than me), but it doesn't stop us from yelling insane biased babble...hey man, that's what the footy is for!
Hell, if we could actually find an intelligent fan to talk to, I think we'd be a fair bit less 'psychotic' and more than hold down a sensible conversation at the game...c'mon nanana...come to the footy with us!

Brisbane and Essendon games last year may just suggest this is the case. Punching holes in the wall of my own house because we won really didn’t make any sense to me the next day either. And after the Essendon final last year I probably would have hurt myself if the win (and alcohol) didn’t make me invincible! I had so much fun that night, it was AWESOME.

I have chilled out this year though, but you have convinced me to bring back my old charms! THE OLD SCOTTY IS BACK BABY....

Yeah true we're f***ed. Just pass the halfway mark in the season and we are the fourth best performed team in the league but really we have no chance. I think the best option would be to play for priority picks from here on on, rebuild and have a crack at 2007 or 2008. I mean we are no chance from here, best leave it up to Richmond and Collingwood to charge into the finals and take it out.

Phat only out of my extreme fear that you will never allowed me back is stopping me venting myself AT THAT F********EN DRIBBLE, CR@P, W@NKER STATEMENT! I had a go at people this year for not having faith. Why give up now? What are youw aiting for us to go undefeated for a whole season then come back next year and win the flag with our undefeatable, inhuman team?

Cool your jets there, ace. i didn't say we were done for the season. i just said at THIS stage, the flag is not guaranteed. we DO have vital players out, so it is a given that we WILL LOSE SOME GAMES. the point i was making was, rather than drag all our known quantities back from the VFL, why not just play some of these new faces? i still have faith in the team, but at the same time i am much wiser about letting emotions get in the way of logic. i've already been burnt 4 times by wearing my heart on my sleeve, now i will support with my head rather than my heart. perhaps you should go have a lie down if you think my previous comment was worthy of such an inflammatory remark, because it really didn't say everything you think it said.

Okay I will start by asking, shouldn’t you be hanging from the flagpole at KP as per my instructions? LOL, just kidding! (DOIT)

The flag isn’t guaranteed until they hand it to Kingy and Bomber at the end of this year. Until then we have to play and win all the games we can before we playing and winning some more in the finals. They could give it to us now but I would rather them drag it out a little, it will make it all the more worth while.

IF we had all our players in and say one or two injuries then yes Loners or some other young inexperienced 2-3rd in line player can come into the side. But if we have LOTS of people out then we bring in the next best because the players aren’t there to learn they are there to win games of football. We should be picking the next best available player on form. Macca wasn’t that great last year, neither was Playfair but we gave him another chance and now everyone loves him.

I HAVE A DREAM THAT ONE DAY MY KIDS WILL PLAY UNDER THE PREMIERSHIP FLAG OF 2005 AT KP

Now just because you have had your dream broken a few times doesn’t mean you give up. If you would just think with your heart you would realize that the time is at hand. We go forth and ATTACK NOW!!!!!!

And when were these other four times?

i didn't say i was giving up, i am just saying that we should be smarter about the long term future of the club, even now when we are supposedly "successful". Lonergan and Egan may not be gun players yet, but they have shown even at this stage of their careers that they, given another season under their belts, will be future stars. McCarthy has been at the club now for 4 years, all of his draft peers are nailing regular places in the seniors. i fear that he's run his course at the GFC.

i would have thought the four burns were obvious to you - 1989, 1992, 1994 and 1995. Hope and Emotion from a supporter doesn't win Geelong flags. It's great to scream and shout and cheer at the games, but we're discussing issues calmly on the internet. typing obscenities in caps at someone doesn't work the same as shouting in their face.

Okay I will take all the bullshizzle and bravado away from what I said and repeat it.

Right now we are 7 starters down and only won 1 of our last 4 games. Now is not the time for experimenting with kids. Now is the time for putting in the best players we have on our list at the moment into the positions needed. We are fourth on the ladder and if we repeat the first half of the season in the second should stay about fourth and have a decent crack at the title.

Exactly right.

Terrible luck for Matthew.

And once again Charlie Gardiner will keep his place due to all other options being on the sidelines.

I haven't seen the game yet - how did he play and how did King play?

Matty got injured very early in the game but up until he got injured he looked alright, and managed to snag a goal. King played really well I thought, compared to his recent form. Was not embarrassed by Everitt by any stretch of the imagination.

Charlie played alright, but wasted a few opportunities and at times he just needed to be, well, better. Maybe that's just me though?

McCarthy out for 4 according to the Addy. You would say he is gawn at the end of the season.

Shocking luck, however he has suspect shoulders, was just a routine (hard) bump and he went down clutching his shoulder.
