Just wondering whith all the new clubs joining the AFL, who do you think could possibily make it at the Highest level in the country. We see James Podsidaly and blokes like that in recent years at age 26+..

Does this rule out a Micheal Praciak of making the cut, Probably the best player in the competition..

What about Jayde Bowden of Glenorchy he would be a real big chance to get drafted if his early season form continues.

Darren Crawford (putrid) would have to be a big chance as well given the fact he has got his body right and looks to be playing well eary..

Let me know your thoughts..

praciak- too old at nearly 30
bowden- real chance
crawford- not up to that level

Rhys Mott seems to be putting his best foot forward to prove the AFL clubs got it wrong last year. He'd have to be one of the more likely candidates.

Jaye Bowden has been chased by a few VFL clubs along the way but stuck firm with the TSL, fingers crossed that something might happen for him this year, but if it doesn't and that AFL dream still lingers then maybe he should make the move to the mainland and have one serious crack through the SANFL or VFL.

I suppose it'll be interesting to see whether some of the Mariners of recent years that have had big wraps but been held back with injury can put their best foot forward. Tom Claridge had big wraps but the past three years have been a write off. Joe Groenewegen is running around in the Colts at the moment which is disappointing. Vin Ponsonby seems to have given up on TSL.

Jade Childs from the Northern Bomber must be a chance????

Cox, Bowden and Mott are all high chances if they keep their form up. Zane Murphy and Zeke Gardam from North also very good players and should be looked at. Aaron Hall from Hobart?

Murphy wasnt picked in the Tassie side v qld last yr because he is a step too slow.

wouldnt cut it at AFL level

With a bit of hard work and proper training Murphy could be at top level form. If j wells could do injury free for a year he too would be a chance to get re drafted
