Interestingly I’ve seen three different club recruiters watch Bernacki at club level in the last month so they are doing due diligence on him it seems

Just to add a little more to this, multiple posters on the Bendigo league board have said that they’ve heard Bernacki is a huge chance to get picked up by an AFL club.

Good luck to him but as I said, he's probably too slow for his size at AFL level given that he's an average kick as well

2022 Fothergil - Round - Mitchell award with it's stories history of rewarding winners with AFL chances has been given out tonight.

23 year old, 198cm key defender Ethan Phillips won this years version on the back of leading the VFL in both intercept possessions and marks per game.
