Seems my club's going with Setterfield now unfortunately. Conforti is a former VFL player for us, wish we at least invited him to train, he's a great user.

On the other side of 25 now, but you'd be hard pressed to find a better footballer who isn't playing VFL/SANFL/WAFL, than Dylan Landt. His dominance and impact in the NTFL this year is something else. So clean and his running capacity is next level.

It will be interesting to see how Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves does in the WAFL this season.

Hopefully he can have an injury free run. If so he should be able to force his way into the Subiaco league side from round 1.

Very surprised that Wade Derksen has signed with Montmorency fc for 2026.
You would think, that has put his Afl dream to bed.

And Massimo Raso has left Richmond Tigers vfl, after having a great 2025 season, even think he was considered for the MSD last year.
Seems odd
Forget who he has joined with for this year.

Agree re. Derksen. He is putting together a pretty solid season in the NTFL at the moment.

Massimo Raso has signed with Werribee so still a good shout to get picked up as a mature ager

Is why he has gone there.

Yes, you are right. Mark Haynes is his step father and he won a F&B after coming over from the VFL.

Good luck to him. I'm guessing the mid-season draft is his goal.

Of course if he does get drafted I'll be counting him as a Sandgroper draftee.

He went to Weribee. Its a little strange given how many players get drafted from our VFL side. Although Weribee usually does well in that regard too.

Machine. I remember him in the SANFL and thought he could be one of the the best players in the league. Has got even better since, absolutely torching the NTFL.

Don’t really have to look to far. Not even the best in his own vic league he plays in winter. Tom Williamson is better by roughly the length of the Flemington straight.

saw Dylan a little bit when he was with our VFL side. Good neat little player, nothing aboslutely outstanding bar the left peg but not enough to demand draft attention imho.

Could be wrong but there was a rumour that Derksen was going to be training with the blues starting this week with an eye for a potential SSP spot.

If he’s going to be in Vic and playing VFL somewhere he would need a home club hence signing with Montmorency.

Regardless of which VFL club he'd sign with, he'd still need a home club that he'd play with if the VFL club had a bye, or he wasn't selected.

So he could still sign with a VFL club, particularly if he's training with Carlton as is being speculated, you'd think they'd be high on the list.
