For all the talk of King being a crap kick at goal, if you take out his two 'misfire' games this year (1.3 and 1.7) he's kicked 27.11 from 8 games. An avg of 3.4 goals and 1.4 behinds.

That says to me that he's generally a pretty good kick but can let an early miss or two get in his head and struggle for the rest of the day. That should iron out with maturity. He's due to play his 50th game after the bye and many believe that footy players only start hitting their stride after 50 games. It's pretty exciting to think that he has another level to go to.

If Max is lucky he will get his chance to see what he can do in the second half of some grand finals.

The Tigers registered 29.22 v 8.9 when they got their second half chances at the biggest of dances.

So I am not sure we are going to be too concerned at a random 4.8 v 10.3 interstate home and away match in a season we are unlikely to contend.

Just to be clear when is the cut off for a young player? He’s 22 in July. Is the cut off for a young player 23 or 24? I just want to know because if he’s still averaging the same stats in 2 years as he is now I don’t wanna here this HOF level fwd stuff again. This would be his peak.

I don't think he'll ever reach much more than he's currently doing whilst playing at St Kilda with their current game plan.

The poor guy doesn't stand a chance.

He's 21 and scrawny, and they continually bomb it on his head against 3-4 big defenders. It's a borderline miracle that he gets it as much as does.

Yep, I wonder where he will decide to go when he is a Free Agent. Suns will probably be in flag contention before St Kilda so he can join his brother there.

It seems to be a whole bunch of people saying that King is a good
Player who is going to be a very good player, and one person trying to pour cold water on everything he does
