Also shows he has a natural attacking mindset. Apart from that one kicking error, I think he’s a pretty good kick overall.Very good again today. However I believe he made 1 bad kick to the middle of the ground after taking a great mark which led to a goal. Forgivable but it was impressive to see he didn't put his head down and just went on and kept playing to a high standard. Shows great maturity.
You remember Jim playing?Watching him at times, I get flashbacks of watching his Dad play, even though Jim mostly played in the forward line. Not only looks and moves like Jim, same effortlesss class as well.

Just about, feels that way someday anyway. I remember the 82 and 84 premierships he played in. But I was too young for the first 2 he played in. 84 was particularly sweet cos we beat Port to win that one. Although I seem to recall it was Rocky Roberts who kicked most of the goals that day.You remember Jim playing?
Were you born in 50BC?
LOL google Kinnear Beatson and Simon Dalrymple 2 of the best in the business for decades..It's interesting how Sydney knew.
I'd love to know who in that club is running their talent ID, they seem to really know their stuff
For the first 2 games I attended, I was just going "Maxy"Just wish his name was easier to say and write. Gonna switch to Max and hope we don't get another one
I'm not a fan, but I read it was because he was only in to cover an injury, and the player was due back for the GF.question for the board Norwood fans who watched him regularly last season - Why exactly was he left out of the GF side? Has he improved markedly since joining the AFL squad? because I don't see how he wouldn't have been best 22 for Norwood with how he's played so far
84 was a brilliant grand final, one of the best I’ve seen and in particular been too.Just about, feels that way someday anyway. I remember the 82 and 84 premierships he played in. Played quite a bit in ruck as wellWatching him at times, I get flashbacks of watching his Dad play, even though Jim mostly played in the forward line. Not only looks and moves like Jim, same effortlesss class as well.

Completely unrelated to this post, but Montagna has genuinely surprised me with the quality of his game analysis over the past couple of years. He is excellent at what he does, and I really didn’t expect that he would be.Leigh Montagna gave him a big wrap on MMM today to his other radio colleagues. Told them to add his name to their little black books. Basically reeled off his opponents stats, was very glowing

David King is a complete knob of a bloke, but he is good at breaking the game down too.
Jason Dunstall is a highly intelligent individual who understands the game better than most.
Basically everyone else at Fox Footy are blithering idiots who have absolutely no idea what they’re talking about.
I’m also old enough to have watched his father Jim play for NorwoodFor the first 2 games I attended, I was just going "Maxy"
But I THINK it's pronounced Mach-elany
84 holds good memories for me84 was a brilliant grand final, one of the best I’ve seen and in particular been too.
Yep Rocky cleaned up.
I was a Michael-aneyI’m also old enough to have watched his father Jim play for Norwood
Everyone used to pronounce his name Michael-Annie - pretty close to how it’s actually spelt
