I never thought i'd see the day when 1L Maximus would cost more than 1L Gatorade.

I still prefer Gatorade as it has more flavour.

But well done to Maximus regardless.

The **** is Maximus?

Gatorade has some of the GOAT sports drink flavours like Watermelon and Grape. Their USA flavours are even better too. They'd still be my choice.

Maximus has become pretty good though. Added some more variety and are better value than Powerade/Gatorade (well at least at my supermarket).

Blue Powerade or GTFO.

The Usain Bolt Lemon Ice gatorade back in the day was the king of sports drinks. None of that flouro yellow.

Blue gatorade/powerade is nice and all, but if you've ever run a marathon (where they tend to dominate drink stations after a certain threshold of the race), you eventually reach a moment when the scent of blue gatorade is enough to make you heave. You need it, otherwise you'll struggle to keep going, but you can't help but resent it a little.

I don't mind either Gatorade or Powerade, as when you're working hard enough any electrolyte drink will taste like heaven. Otherwise, little reason to drink it. Gatorade was the sexier drink for kids in the 90s, more targeted advertisements.

Anyone see that checkout episode where the Gatorade ‘scientists’ - like the ones from the actual company - were like ‘yep ok so it rots your teeth, but we advise drinking it fast so it doesn’t touch your teeth’

Gatorade science

Coca-Cola advises the same with their drinks. Best suited to those with flip-top heads.
