Maxwell gone.

If that's the only footage available of the Maxwell incident, you couldn't suspend him on it. Surely they'd have to have something else available like they did for Johnson last week?

Didn't Hartlett and somebody else get done recently from even more inconclusive footage?

Nobody should be suspended for any of the 'incidents' in the game last night.

They were all pissweak, nobody was hurt, none were deliberate thuggery (just a show if strength or niggling) - but they've set the precedent for this crap, and I doubt they'll wise up now.

According to the doctors report (maybe from Richmond doctor) Maxwell broke Puopolo's nose, so I would say somebody was hurt, cause that hurts like a biatch

Hypothetically, if a Hawk's player gets two games, do they miss the GF? That would seem an unfair punishment given if they lost last night they would have an extra and therefore could make it back for the final.

Yes they would.

Maxwell doesn't have either a good or bad record.

He either gets nothing or at best he'll get two weeks.

High Contact, Intentional (only due to the Ottens rule), Low Impact - 6 activation points, level 3 ROugh Conduct - which is 325

Down to 243 with a plea

My only issue, firstly I don't think he meant any malice whatsoever - he was clearly trying to block the space and keeping Puopolo away from the ball. To then get assigned 3 activation points (for the intentional aspect) on the back of something which has zero malice is just poor.

FOr mine (at most) that should be negligent, High, low - 4 activation points - level 1 rough conduct which becomes 93 points with a plea

So he smashes a guy in the face, draws blood and he gets zero weeks with an early plea. Holy shit Batman, if I ever go to court can you be my judge?

"Puopolo left the field under the blood rule, the Hawks revealing later he received a broken nose. " has to be high contact medium impact now. He ain't getting off.

Maxwell I didn't see the incident but since Puopolo drew blood he could be in trouble

Roughead looked like nothing in in but after Johnsons last week he could be in trouble. When I saw the replay, it looked like a half bump half push and I was suprised when Dawes stayed down so long. Hopefully just a reprimand

Gibson has no case to answer to. Even the umpire at the time said it was a free kick and nothing else in it

You can't bump a bloke 50 metres away from the ball and drop him.

You certainly can't bump a bloke 50 metres away from the ball and drop him with a round house right.

Puopolo was bleeding prettty heavily, unless his nose spontaneously bled Maxwell deserves a couple of weeks. I'm guessing that's the main reason for Buckley's little discussion with the umpires, even though he claimed not to have seen the incident in the post match interview
