we won 18 games for the season and if you assumed we got the 3 point votes for those games then that's 54 votes right there. One of our lads is in with a good show.

Is the Brownlow on Pay TV live in NSW?

Speaking of the Brownlow, does anybody know if it is being screened live into NSW on Austar? I heard a rumour that it was but can't find it on the tv guide and have called them but have received no help twice. Please let me know if you can.

Hmm bit much of a drop off after Bartel (29) and Ablett (27) down to Corey the next best with 8??? We've prided ourselves on being pretty even across the board.

It will be interesting to see how well SJ polls. If he does well he'll take votes away and make it tough for cats player to win but he is the sort of player that might not get many votes.

Interesting. The possibility that Bartel and Ablett will tie is pretty good!
I did my own scores based on ststs for each game and had Harvey and Bartel on 30, just ahead of Joel Corey on 29. With Joel Corey showing $5.50 to finish top 5 that was my bet. In an even team can Joel Corey win the Brownlow at 50/1 and $13.50 for a top 3 finish? I am tempted. Tell me cats fans do I make another bet?

No, don't - you've already lost your other money. Joel Corey will have 2 players from Geelong higher than him, let alone from other clubs. Just because he gets a stack of possessions doesn't mean he will poll votes. He's not all that damaging, turns it over more often than the Abletts and Bartels, and he never gets a tag. Don't get me wrong, he's a good player, but he's not good enough to go wasting money on....

Well I will save my money and maybe have a little on McLeod, not to win but get in the top 5. Looks like Ablett, Harvey and Bartel.
