So have restricted general admission mcc entry tickets for myself and daughter on entry are we given a seat or is it just go in and find a seat on Anzac Day ? And what time should we get there and does gate open ?

I stand corrected!

I always go front row level 4, love the strategic viewing.

Unless you have reserve seats, then its first come first served. Gates open from 12, you can line up beforehand if you want.

Given the current state of both teams, I wouldn't be surprised if demand is lower than normal

Hope this helps!

Visitor passes on ANZAC day will enable you to snaffle a seat on Lev1 or 4.

It is go in and find a seat on lev 1 and 4.

There will be plenty of both tiers that have been allocated already as reserved seating, so MCC staff will direct you to the available walk up seating.

How early you should get there depends on how good a seat you want.

What do you reckon though, would there be at least some chance of getting in without a reserved seat? I got no cash but I want to go :(

MCC thread Temploar, if your a member will have no problems just rocking up as they deliberately only allow about half the MCC reserve to be booked out in advance.

If you are wanting GA walk-up, doubtful.

Ah yeah I just wanted to post it in a semi relevant thread to avoid making my own.

I'm only a pies home game GA member. Looks like the couch at home will suffice.
Bit of a let down when I'm only 10 min walk from the 'G though. Surely it won't break 70k this year with both teams performing the way they are? I already know a few people who have given up on the pursuit this year (weak)

In the end it's all for money though and I know even if they don't expect to crack 70k they'll still make people pay for reserved. The diggers would be rolling in their grave, this money corrupt world is not what they fought for - the fact that we're even commercializing an ANZAC day match shirt with pre orders pisses me off. My great grandfather fought in that war and now there's a price tag on everything to do with them.

I sit in the MCC every game, and it really depends on where you want to sit. I need to get there at 6-7, to get my regular seats next to the race. You should be fine getting there at 9. You can't leave your seat before you get your seat ticket, so make sure to have everybody going with you at their seats until then.
