I wouldn't be surprised if they gave him a game before the end of the year if his form deserves it.

I would. Worsfold likes to give his talls time to develop, let their bodies mature before they get battered. I imagine he'd also be more likely to give Hansen and Beeck a run ahead of McConnell, even if just to see if they're worth keeping on for another year.

We don't seem to mind playing Beau Waters who is about the same age as McConnell. Even then, Worsfold didn't mind playing Staker in his rookie season, did he? In any event I don't see him playing more than 2-3 games but it depends on our injuries and how our season is going.

McConnell is in yr 12, (at my sis's school...he even dressed up as a penguin at the fancy-dress river cruise... just a pointless bit of info there) and they have 3 exam periods throughout the year and a lot of homework/study to make sure they do well ect. Exams are in May/June, Mid sept and nov so I don't think he'd play during may/june if he was going to play.
Waters isn't at school as far as I know. He's the same age as me, and I think SA has the same grades as we do, someone told me Butler was finishing yr 12 off this year because he did half of it last year.
D Mac was great in the second intraclub though!

No he is not a rake, by comparison:
McConnell 190 cm 83 kg
Hunter 190 cm 81 kg
Embley 190 cm 88 kg
Good size, he will put some more weight on and in time, and he will be similar to Embley

You sure that the correct info? If so he would be bigger than Hunter? Which I just cant imagine. Im sure I saw him once and immediatly tagged him as a project that we wouldnt see for a least 2 years?
