Deserves more credit, those stats are from a tagger and i struggle to find one player who has had a good game when being tagged by J-Mac this year.

i have to agree with you on this one! the amount of people saying that we should get rid of him or that he should retire is unbelievable. i think he is a great player and deserves to be credited more. we may not notice him as much but its all the work he does stopping his opponent that really matters

Gary Lyon last year rated his as one of the most underrated players in the comp, and he's really stepped up this year - doesn't get the credit he deserves.

Is underrated because he does all the 1%ers no one notices. Plays in a very blue collar fashion and I love him for it, love the way he goes about his footy.
Good on him.:thumbsu:

I'll own up to under-rating this guy. Can sometimes be too slow with his options which can lead to turnovers but his workrate is phenomonal and his tackling has been ferocious. Definately a vital cog in our midfield.

I always underrate him at the beginning of every season and he proves me wrong. This year he has taken it to another level, I rate him as one of our best 5 midfielders this season ahead of guys like Moloney,Sylvia and Green.:thumbsu:

i expect opposition supporters to underrate junior, but for melbourne supporters to not realise how much he brings to the side is pretty ignorant... he's been one of our most consistant players over the last 3 seasons...

one of my favs in the afl. been on him from the beginning and he just keeps slipping under the guard, if young bartram doesnt get judd, surely Mcdonald is the man?? any man who can get 15 tackles in a game has to be worthy.
