Gov is always playing with something. If this was any other week it wouldn't even make the news. As was said last night on 360 by Roos, players are getting knocks all the time, it's just that Gov's was on show for everyone to see that its been made a big deal of. Some critics say "ohh but he only jogged at training," ignoring the fact that he was instructed only to jog by the training staff.

Your rucks could rotate of the bench and schoffield then has a role to play and balances the back 6 mix.

Played forward as a junior, but has mostly played defence since being at WC due to the forward line being full.

I don't think so, being tall is the corner stone of our game and is one of the main reasons why we have finished where we have, so don't see why we would change it now.

Apart from the venue, schoffield is the difference between the lineups from the qf.
Thought your backline worked well with the small/mediums run to get the ball out to the mids, his lack of mobility in that sense creates a negative from the qf.
Could tip the balance of an even midfield battle

Yeo pushes down back and sling shots out with Hurn, even Rioli gets down there and lays tackles. So even though our back 6 is tall, there are always smaller bodies getting down there to help out.

Hence the imbalance, I don't recall the half forwards/mids pushing too deep in the qf, that extra run required could be telling in the last.
It's the only thing i can analyse to split these 2 teams, so evenly matched based on the last result.
5 mins out we were in front effectively with a 25pt turn around from mid 1st qtr.
