Once again Grant surrounding himself with assistants that don't have the potential to go on to become senior AFL coaches. Whilst McGuane may have a good footy brain I can't see him ever being offered a senior coaching position. Isn't it funny I still remember after Blight was fiven the flick by Grant...whoops I mean the St Kilda board, he stated that he would coach but if a better option came down he would step aside. I suppose he could say that if he surrounds himself with no potential competition.
