McLean or Deledio?

One thing people. Deledio was given some actual space last week, where he wasnt being tagged, as he was playing off half back. Incidently, it was perhaps his best game of the year as he got to run and bounce with the ball - he was terrific. My point is that once he learns how to find this space playing in the midfield, he'll be doing it consistantly, and we'll see why he went at number one.

Ok, but McLean cops a heavy tag every week already - brett Kirk was the first guy to really beat him, last week.

McLean by a long way. Very hard working and makes an impact all the time. Deledio has alot of catching up to do. I think over 10 years you will see McLean achieve alot more.

stats may not really matter, though mclean beats him in avg disposals, goals, tackles and deledio beats him in umm...well...hitouts & behinds, which are very important stats in todays game LOL

none of this Deledio easy or McLean easy b.s. They are both guns and both will be superstars of the comp, a very close poll. Obviously i went with McLean, he has proven more so far, but i have no doubts Deledio will blossom into a superstar. He will not be a Judd though.

Ryan Griffin... oh hang on, what a suprise. I nominate him because I barrack for the Dogs. Melbourne supporters back McLean, Richmond supporters go for Deledio. These threads are so pointless. McLean and Deledio are both super talents, will be 200 plus game players for their respective clubs and will be acknowledged and admired by followers of all teams over the next decade. If Lids played for Melbourne and Brock for the Tiges, this debate would still continue, only RJ & Nuetral would be pumping up Deledio while Bentleigh & Itsintheblood would be talking up McLean. They are both excellent players... how do you split 'em? Why bother?

Did you not see what Cooney did to adelaide on Saturday, 33 possies and 5 goals. MClean is a great player who is very consitent but Cooney's best is judd like. Give the choice again i think Mclean might go to second in that draft but Cooney would still be the no. 1 pick.
