I've made an effort to watch every Freo game this season because they're playing well and my mob are to put it nicely, not. And one thing I have noticed that that McPhee is an absolute spud. How does he keep getting games in what is otherwise a really good team?

9 times out of 10 when he goes near the ball he ****s something up. He is slow and has no skill below his knees. He brings nothing at all to the team.

Give him a game or two in the WAFL to prove he is in our best 22.

Definitely inconsistent. His good games are good, rarely spectacular. His bad games are bad, normally very bad.
Does help structures when the team plays well, hurts the team badly when the team, and he, plays badly.

I didn't see him drop marks, I saw him attempting a one-handed mark that he couldn't complete while lying on the ground, I saw him take a mark coming out of defense that wasn't called.

I'm not saying he played fantastic, but he had as much endeavour and mistakes as all of our players out there tonight.

he played OK. he didn't do any worse than anyone else and dropped two very difficult marks. the problem was we weren't sharp enough and unstandably so after a couple of tough weeks and two men down.

All I'm saying, is that he doesn't have the skills and intensity that you'd expect of a very senior player. This is self evident.

McPhee was really good last week. IMO he ran hard all night, his skills weren't on the mark tonight. That is the most pressure our players have been under this season and a number of players struggled.

Really like Mora's game, he was hard at it all night.

So in 5 years (Woods last played in 05??). Some 870+ games, the game McPhee played tonight is the worst any player has played.

To be honest he wasn't the worst out their tonight but he was pretty far from the best. The Dockers will hopefully learn from tonight and move forward big things will happen with this group.
