If you put min 18 games / year trigger for years 4-7, then I'd be fine with it.I wouldn't have thought so, regardless of what clauses you put in there.

Since 2016 - Jenkins, Sloane, Milera, Laird...who else? There must be 7 or 8 other players yeah if we "hand out 5 years deals like lollipops"?TwoThreeFourFive wrongs doesn't make a right.
Ah bugger it, I agree we seem to hand out 5 years deals like lollipops might as well give one to Doedee.

How long did Betts, Talia & Walker get? I honestly can't remember, but none of them were less than 3 years.Since 2016 - Jenkins, Sloane, Milera, Laird...who else? There must be 7 or 8 other players yeah if we "hand out 5 years deals like lollipops"?

How long did he have to go on his initial contract, when he signed the extension? Given that we're paying him to play at Carlton for 2 years...I believe Betts was 4 years initial contract, then a 3 year extension.
So he needs to be added to the list.Talia was a 5 year deal
Effectively a 4 year contract then... Not quite the 5 years "like lollipops" contract, but not far short.Walker was a 3 year deal, signed one year before he came out of contract

Why would we even push him to sign anything other than what he's publicly stated he wants to do for now.He wouldn't sign it IMO.
Really? 2 x 3 year deals by my researchSmith

And aren't both of those deals paying off in spades right now.
Chayce Jones only got a 3 year contract extension
From what I've seen, I think he could become a Darcy Moore type players in our back line.I saw enough of McPherson last season to be optimistic about him with this signing but I'm curious why so many on this board are so bullish about Worrell??? What is this based on?
I think he's more the Justin Westhoff type minus the ruck bit personally, a very good swingman, or if we're talking purely as a defender Dylan Grimes perhaps. From what I've seen, I think he could become a Darcy Moore type players in our back line.

It's horrendousI just noticed there’s a sequel to that movie out now.
The creatively name. “Coming 2 America”
Hey if you’re silly enough to go there, you’ll need to take 50% responsibility for that. It's horrendous
Didn't Walker take a pay cut?The bad deals the club did recently in no particular order:
Jenkins
Gibbs
Lynch
Sloane
Betts(the last extension)
Walker(the amount$$)
Milera
Frampton

Yes.Didn't Walker take a pay cut?
From what I recall, we had salary cap pressure at the time so I think he agreed to renegotiate his contract to take less per year but over more years? Something like that?Didn't Walker take a pay cut?
