Watson, Monfries, Stanton would probably be my frontrunners. Ryder would be abit unusual, he doesn't seem like the person who would relish the limelight.

Ill through in Gumby as well. CHF's usually make very good captains.

Winderlich would NOT make a good captain. He plays for himself at the moment and is no way ready. He won't be ready in two years, and i doubt he'll ever be ready.
Stanton maybe, McVeigh would be a good captain but might be a tad old...
Lloyd is a great captain lets not all jump off him after ONE bad game, where he was playing a decoy forward..... It's a team game and he took one for the team last week.
