If im not mistaken, he generally only signs on a year at a time to keep his lifestyle options open. Read that in a feature article on him in the Bomber magazine

His last contract was for two years, after his mate Lloyd asked him to sign for two years instead of just the one. He has no intention of leaving the club, he loves the place.
