It can't be a challenge to get a good Australian band for the highpoint of the season of a uniquely Australian game.

Jeez you'd reckon most Aussie bands would almost do it for cost given the massive free advertising they'd get.
 
Vlad should do the right thing and pay Meatloaf out of his own bonus cheque. The clubs shouldn't be penalised by a very poor decision by AFL HQ.

Vlad obviously didn't see him live last time he toured a few years back. He was shitful then. No reason to think he'd be any better out in the open in a 100K seat stadium.

If the AFL wanted old rockers - Alice Cooper was in town (so would have cost a lot less) and would have been a far better choice....the AFL have got it wrong again
 
At first I thought it sounded like he had monitoring problems. Although the female was doing fine. Disappointed for meatloaf, always thought he was cool. But that was shitfull.

As somebody who makes their comfortable living from composing, arranging, engineering, mixing and mastering music, I can assure you that Lars's drumming is just as hard (if not harder) for me to listen to as Meatloaf's singing is.

Lars butchers drumming the same way Meatloaf butchers singing.

If you want to debate that fact, then you're clearly either a) deaf, or b) completely devoid of all rhythmic sense.

In either case, your own post is more of a contender for worst post of the year than mine.
 
Why can't they just get somebody like Wolfmother??
