i know people who went to meatloaf tonight in perth... They thought Meatloaf was terrible lol, poor guy
 
We always liked him, but after that performance, and now reading todays article, he has shown himself up for the scumbag, piece of trash that he is........good riddance to him..

Why bother chasing some big name, big demand star for ridiculous cash? I am sure there would be plenty of young ambitious Australian (doesn't even have to be Australian) artists who would love the opportunity to get their name out there by performing on the day for a fairly low fee.
 
No professional singer would sound so poorly and sing out of tune just because the piano is on a tape instead of live. Cover bands use backing tapes 4 nights a week and a good singer will never sing out of key, even if the tape drops out he'll still know where the notes are.

Full of excuses because he's a shit singer ya'll.

As much as Meatloaf is an overpaid, washed-up karaoke singer, after fifteen minutes with the AFL hierarchy he worked out they were jerks.

Hahaha, he blames the lack of sound check and prep time when he's been singing these songs for over 30 years, and couldn't nail a single note. Kidding himself, the fat shit.

One of the best singers to ever take the stage ...but i guess a kid wouldn't know this .

I have no idea whether he can still sing or not ..but he was a beauty in his younger years .

sounds like the AFL don't know how to run a pre game entertainment...perhaps they should next time hire professional help in setting up the sound system .

Let's hope he succeeds in convincing artists not to perform at the GF (although frankly it's hard to believe he has friends in the industry who would listen to him), and we stop with this pre-game music bullshit.
 
I don't mind them paying some coin if someone half decent happens to be available, but chasing expensive acts that are beyond has-beens and that are just in it for an easy pay day is stupid.

Otherwise just get some young local talent and save the money for something worthwhile.
 
Spend the 500k-2m on buying back corporate tickets to the GF and allowing real club members a chance to see the match
