Do you believe these morons in the media tipping Collingwood to smash us, haven't they been around for the last 100 years, form and ladder position mean nothing in this game as shown by us winning 3 of the past 4 against the maggots from Collingwood. Did anyone see the article in the Herald Sun the other day where they tried to make our players look pathetic with there statistics on clangers from individuals, where they claimed the league average was 21.4 or something and then they give the averages of individual Carlton players instead of averaging over the whole team, i mean what a blatant beat up very shifty. I mean Carlton don't even have the highest Clanger count in the league from what i heard on the Footy Show so just another kick while we are down, can't wait to start crapping all over these morons again when we are back on top.:thumbsu:

Go the Mosquito Fleet!!!:thumbsu:

It frustrates me too. But the only way to earn some respect is by winning. No more close defeats. We can't expect the media to give us anything, 'cause they simply won't. The only way we'll ever hear another positive word about Carlton again is by becoming regular winners.

In a way it's annoying, but in a another way, we deserve it. Because when you think about it, it's rather sad. Why is this club taking so damn long to rise up the ladder again when we have the supposed best coach in the league? Not to mention a St Kilda esque number of draft picks...

St Kildaesque is a strong call. 1 and 4 from this year have no right to be helping us so much already. 9 and 25 are not strong picks. #2 from the 2003 draft is now looking the goods. It is the picks from 2000, 2001 who should be lifting us now so we have to take the blame for those decisions.

If you were non carlton you too would be predicting a Collingwood victory.

Ultimately it is going to be wet and windy on Sunday, Collingwood have played at the G on a Tuesday, followed it up with a game on the Dome on the Sunday, so hopefully we can exploit that and use it too our advantage.

Collingwood are on a roll, and with their big names playing they have a higher skill base than most of last year and momentum.

Their forward line of Tarrant, Rocca, Fraser, Buckly, Didak, Cloke etc are hard too match on, especially when playing well, but then we have too work hard in the middle and exploit their backline with Fevola, Waite, Fisher, Kennedy, Betts and hopefully Whitnall at some stage.

In terms of StKilda like draft picks, well, where has it got the saints, just short of where many feel they should be, and fast running out of time.

Kosi may not play again this week, Goddard has had a spell recently, and the pressure mounts on them very subtly.

Most of our picks are still developing - ie - Hartlett, Bower, Edwards, Blackwell etc.

Lets hope we see something more on Sunday, I think the members / supporters deserve a win.
